“一个字让你爱上中国”中华文化主题展将走进联合国欧洲总部

With the theme of "One Character Makes You Fall in Love with China", a series of activities aimed at promoting Chinese culture at the United Nations (UN) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland were launched in Changsha on March 19, ahead of the 2025 International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations, which falls on June 10. It was announced that a Chinese cultural exhibition with the same theme will take place at the headquarters in June.

3月19日，2025年“文明对话国际日”——中华文化主题“一个字让你爱上中国”联合国欧洲总部系列活动在长沙启动，并宣布“一个字让你爱上中国”中华文化主题展将于6月走进联合国欧洲总部。

The exhibition is part of the efforts of the Hunan Song Dan Chinese Character Art Museum to spread fine traditional Chinese culture abroad. Since 2015, the museum has organized 61 exhibitions in the United States, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Spain, Croatia and other places.

“一个字让你爱上中国”中华文化主题展，是湖南省宋旦汉字艺术博物馆推出的“走出去”传播中华优秀传统文化的重要活动组成部分。自2015年以来，该博物馆已在美国、日本、韩国、俄罗斯、西班牙、克罗地亚等地举办了61场展览交流。

Song Dan, curator of the Song Dan Chinese Character Art Museum, said that while holding the exhibition, the museum has set up Chinese character art experience bases in the United States, Russia and Croatia, and established cooperative relations with many international institutions, museums, and universities to jointly promote Chinese character art and related cultural and creative products.

据湖南省宋旦汉字艺术博物馆馆长宋旦介绍，办展的同时，他们先后在美国、俄罗斯、克罗地亚建立了汉字艺术体验基地，还与多个国际机构、博物馆、大学等建立了合作关系，共同推广汉字艺术和汉字文创产品。

The activities to be held at UN headquarters include an art exhibition tour featuring Chinese characters and intangible cultural heritage, a global youth dialogue on the integrated development of Chinese character art and science and technology, and booths highlighting cultural works and cities. They aim to form an international cultural exchange and cooperation model of civilized dialogues, cultural displays and cultural trade, showing the charm of Chinese culture to the world, and building a bridge for mutual learning among civilizations.

即将走进联合国欧洲总部的活动，计划通过“汉字·非遗”艺术巡展、“全球青年多维对话之汉字艺术与科技融合发展”主题交流以及文化作品及城市展台三大主题活动，形成文明对话、文化展示、文化贸易的国际人文交流合作模式，向世界展示中华文化魅力，搭建文明互鉴桥梁。

On the same day, the Cultural Communication Center of the Chinese Foreign Languages Publishing Administration signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Song Dan Chinese Character Art Museum to co-construct the Cultural Communication Innovation Cooperation Base · Center for the Integrated Development of Chinese Character Art and Technologies. The bilingual picture book "Tales of Chinese Characters" was officially released. The 2025 Global Youth Chinese Character Digital Art Intellectual Creation Competition was launched simultaneously.

当天，中国外文局文化传播中心与湖南省宋旦汉字艺术博物馆签署战略合作协议，共建“文化传播创新合作基地·汉字艺术与科技融合发展中心”；中英文双语绘本《汉字童年》正式发布；2025全球青少年汉字数字艺术智创大赛同步启动。
