张家界大鲵国家级保护区跻身世界级名录

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) announced recently that it has added a group of protected areas to its Green List. The Zhangjiajie Giant Salamander National Nature Reserve in Hunan Province made the list.

世界自然保护联盟（IUCN）近日宣布一批新的绿色名录保护区，湖南张家界大鲵国家级自然保护区成功入选。

The Zhangjiajie Giant Salamander National Nature Reserve is China's first and the largest national nature reserve dedicated to protecting giant salamanders. Located in the Wuling Mountains Biodiversity Protection Priority Area, it covers 745 streams across the Lishui and Yuanshui river basins and 76.5% of the waters within Zhangjiajie City. It serves as a vital water source and ecological security barrier in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, playing a critical role in sustaining regional biodiversity and safeguarding the ecological environment.

张家界大鲵国家级自然保护区是中国第一个也是最大的以大鲵为主要保护对象的国家级自然保护区，位于武陵山生物多样性保护优先区内，涉及澧水、沅水流域745条河流，覆盖了张家界市76.5%的水域，是长江中游的重要水源地与生态屏障，对区域生物多样性维持与生态环境保护具重要意义。

In recent years, the population of wild giant salamanders of the main protected species has reached 13,800, and the number of giant salamander breeding sites increased to ten in the reserve. Its breakthrough bionic propagation techniques haven secured three national patents. Five giant salamander species of genetically pure lines have been conserved, including the Chinese Giant Salamander and South China Giant Salamander.

近年来，保护区内主要保护物种野生大鲵的种群数量已达1.38万尾，大鲵繁殖点增至10个。其突破性仿生态繁育技术荣获3项国家专利，保育了中国大鲵、华南大鲵等5种遗传纯种。

In the reserve, biodiversity has been continuously enhanced, leading to a significant increase in its fish, bird, and amphibian species. New species have been recorded, such as the Zhangjiajie light-lip fish (acrossocheilus fasciatus), Hunan pterocryptis anomala, golden bush robin, and Sichuan bamboo pit viper.

保护区内鱼类、鸟类、两栖类等物种数量也大幅增加，生物多样性持续提升，还有新发现张家界光唇鱼、湖南隐鳍鲇、金色林鸲、四川竹叶青等新物种和新纪录。
