On October 14, guests from African and Asian countries visited the Hunan Hybrid Rice Research Center in Changsha to explore China's innovation in hybrid rice research.

"With climate change, we have a lot of challenges about agriculture. This is why I come here," said Aicha Elhadji Maki Amadou, a television director from Niger. She hopes to bring more researchers here to exchange ideas, and to build cooperation between Niger and China — "about our agriculture, about rice."
