中国巡演华中唯一！格莱美奖得主英国合唱团国王歌手首登长沙

The King’s Singers — the Grammy-winning British a cappella group founded in 1968 — will make their Changsha debut on Oct 16 at Changsha Concert Hall, the only Central China stop on their current tour. 

两届格莱美得主、1968年成立的英国无伴奏合唱团国王歌手合唱团，将于10月16日在长沙音乐厅迎来长沙首演，这也是本轮中国巡演的华中唯一一站。

Known as one of the gold standards of vocal music worldwide, the six-member ensemble performs with zero instruments, building orchestral-level harmonies purely from human voices. Their repertoire moves freely between Renaissance polyphony, Broadway, The Beatles, Queen, jazz and Disney scores. 

作为全球人声音乐的黄金标杆之一，这个六人组合不使用任何乐器，仅靠人声叠出交响乐团般的和声层次。曲目横跨文艺复兴复调、音乐剧、披头士、皇后乐队、爵士与迪士尼。

For this tour, they rehearsed four to five Chinese songs spanning Mandarin, Cantonese and Hubei dialect, earning praise online as "the foreign group that respects local culture the most". Two-time Grammy winners and inductees of the Gramophone Hall of Fame, they’ve played Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw — now adding Changsha to the list.

本次巡演他们专门排练了四到五首中文歌曲，涵盖国语、粤语和湖北方言，被网友称为“最尊重本土文化的外国团”。他们两度拿下格莱美，入选《留声机》名人堂，足迹覆盖卡内基音乐厅、柏林爱乐大厅、阿姆斯特丹皇家音乐厅——如今名单里添上了长沙。
