针灸圈粉后，她建立非洲第一间中医文化屋

胡莎，湖南中医药大学第一附属医院针灸推拿康复科主治医师，中国（湖南）第20批、21批援津巴布韦医疗队员，作为援非医生连任两届，擅长针灸。

Dr. Hu Sha, an attending physician in the Acupuncture and Massage Rehabilitation Department at First Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, has served two consecutive terms in Zimbabwe as a member of the medical team providing aid to Africa. She specializes in acupuncture and brings her expertise to this important work.

手执小小银针“圈粉”非洲友人

An Acupuncturistbeloved by Africans

国有界，爱无疆，援外医疗队派遣是中国持续时间最长、派遣规模最大、实施效果最好的援助项目之一，深受受援国政府和民众的欢迎。

Love knows no boundaries. The dispatch of medical teams, as one of China’s most enduring, extensive, and successful aid programs, is widely welcomed by the governments and people of recipient countries.

胡莎连续两年在津巴布韦担任针灸医生，“粉丝”众多。“能得到患者们的信任，再累也很值得。”胡莎说。

Hu Sha, who has been serving as an acupuncture doctor in Zimbabwe for two years, has a large number of fans. She stated, “Earning patients' trust is truly worth all the hard work.”

在医疗资源匮乏的津巴布韦，针灸以其显著的疗效和迅速的改善特点，深受当地居民的欢迎。

In Zimbabwe, where medical resources are scarce, acupuncture is highly popular among local residents for its significant therapeutic effects and rapid improvements—

一名患有脑瘫的儿童，在胡莎的诊治下，经过20多天的针灸治疗，患儿不仅能够自主翻身，甚至可以自行坐起；继续治疗两个月后，孩子逐渐学会行走；而在治疗三个月后，患儿的智力和运动能力已接近正常。

After Hu Sha treated a child with cerebral palsy with acupuncture for more than 20 days, the child could not only turn over independently but also sit up by himself. After three months of treatment, the child’s intelligence and motor skills were close to normal.

“这位脑瘫患儿算是幸运的，因为在病情尚未恶化到难以干预的程度便得到了治疗。然而，当地许多民众缺乏及时就诊的意识，导致许多患者错过了最佳治疗时机。”胡莎感慨道。她曾接诊过一名肿瘤患者，由于没有钱进行检查和及时就医，病情发展到晚期，患者的脖子上已经长出了巨大的肿瘤。

"This child with cerebral palsy is fortunate to have received treatment before the condition worsened and needed more challenging intervention. However, many people in the local area lack awareness of seeking medical attention promptly, resulting in many patients missing the treatment opportunities," Hu Sha said with a sigh. She once received a cancer patient who, due to a lack of funds for checkups and timely medical care, allowed the condition to progress to an advanced stage, with a huge tumor on the neck.

“面对这样的状况，我们的医疗队不仅要帮助他们减缓疾病进展，还要致力于疾病治疗和预防，健康科普也需要全面展开。”胡莎说。

"In such a situation, our medical team not only needs to help them slow down the progression of the disease, but also needs to focus on disease treatment and prevention, and health education needs to be comprehensively carried out," said Hu Sha.

目前，津巴布韦中医针灸中心每天都要接诊40名左右的患者，从看诊到做治疗，要花费一名医生不少时间。因此，培养当地针灸医生、传播中医文化尤为重要。胡莎通过教学培训，成功培养出两名具备当地语言沟通能力并能够进行基础针灸治疗的学生。

Currently, the Zimbabwe Chinese Acupuncture Center treats around 40 patients daily, and the process from diagnosis to treatment takes a significant amount of time for the doctors.Due to the importance of training local acupuncturists and promoting Chinese medical culture, Hu Sha has successfully trained two locals who are capable of providing basic acupuncture treatments.萨沙是其中一位学生。深受中医魅力影响，萨沙的父亲曾在中国医疗队的针灸治疗下康复，因此，萨沙于2023年加入津巴布韦中医药中心，成为胡莎的弟子。经过一年多的严谨学习，萨沙现已具备独立接诊和运用针灸进行简易痛症治疗的能力。

Sasha is one of the locals. Deeply impressed by the charm of TCM, Sasha's father was cured by acupuncture treatment under theChinese medical team, so Sasha joined the Zimbabwe Chinese Medicine Center in 2023 and became HuSha's disciple. After more than a year of rigorous study, Sasha now has the ability to independently consult and use acupuncture treatmentstoreliefsimple pain.

筹备首间“中医文化屋”

The First “TCM Cultural Gallery”

“虽然当地居民都非常热爱中医、相信中医，但他们对中医的了解不足，仅停留在针灸、拔罐等治疗手段上。”胡莎希望能在自己的任期内，加强当地中医文化的影响力。在湖南中医药大学第一附属医院的支持下，胡莎正在当地筹备非洲第一家中医陈列室和中医急救小屋，希望能为津巴布韦创造更多展示、传播和推广中医的平台。

Although local residents love and believe in Chinese medicine, their understanding of it is insufficient, primarily limited to acupuncture and cupping therapies. Hu Sha hopes to enhance the local influence of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) during her term by establishing the first “TCM Cultural Gallery” in Africa. With support from the First Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine, she is currently preparing the “TCM Cultural Gallery” and an emergency acupuncture house in Zimbabwe.

不仅如此，胡莎和肖志强、王敏华两位医生，代表中国（湖南）第21批援津巴布韦医疗队参加津巴布韦国际贸易博览会。在中国馆展区设立中医药展台，展出了针灸人体模型、针灸用具、火罐、中成药等，吸引了大量当地民众和国际友人的驻足关注。

Furthermore, Hu Sha, along with doctors Xiao Zhiqiang and Wang Minhua, set up a Traditional Chinese Medicine exhibit booth at the China Pavilion, representing the 21st dispatch of the Chinese (Hunan) Medical Team to Zimbabwe at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair. They displayed acupuncture human models, acupuncture tools, cuppingjars, and Chinese patent medicines, attracting extensive attention from local residents and international friends.

这也让胡莎等医疗队员更加加深了助力中医事业在津巴布韦发展的决心，为此，中国（湖南）援津医疗队走遍了津巴布韦10个省份开展义诊，并宣传传染病、常见病和多发病的防治知识，向当地居民赠送医疗和药品。

It also strengthened Hu Sha and other medical workers' resolve to assist in the development of traditional Chinese medicine in Zimbabwe. Therefore, the Chinese (Hunan) medical team to Zimbabwe conducted free medical consultations in all 10 provinces of Zimbabwe and disseminated knowledge on the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, common diseases, and multiplediseases, while also distributing medical supplies and medicineto local residents.

目前，津巴布韦中医中心已经发展成南部非洲最大的中医中心，每日患者络绎不绝，中医的疗效和口碑在当地百姓中赢得了广泛好评。在新一届任期里，胡莎提出在津巴布韦第二大城市布拉瓦约建立中医分中心的想法。

So far, the Zimbabwe Chinese Medicine Center has become the largest TCM center in southern Africa, receiving a continuous stream of patients daily. The effectiveness and reputation of Chinese medicine havewon widespread acclaim from the local populace. In her new term, Hu Sha has proposed establishing a branch of the TCM Center in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe’s second-largest city.

Africans Talk on TCM

在2024年4月召开的津巴布韦国际贸易博览会上，玛蒂和亲友一行三人专程前往，只为前来给胡莎“捧场”。

At the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair held in April 2024, Marsha and two of her friends made a special trip,just to come and support Hu Sha.

玛蒂说：“我们非常感谢中国医疗队，尤其是感谢胡莎医生的针灸治疗。听说中国医疗队参加了博览会，我们毫不犹豫出发，既希望了解更多中医文化，也想再次对胡莎医生和中国医疗队表示感谢。”

“We are very grateful to the Chinese medical team, especially Dr. Hu Sha for her acupuncture treatment. When we heard that the Chinese medical team participated in the fair, we set off without hesitation. We not only hope to learn more about the culture of TCM, but also want to express our gratitude once again to Dr. Hu Sha and the Chinese medical team.” Martha said.

玛蒂和胡莎结缘于去年4月。当时的玛蒂因为长期腰痛和全身多处关节疼痛来中医药中心做针灸治疗，效果很好。玛蒂来自布拉瓦约，距离位于哈拉雷的中医药中心445公里。康复后的她向身边的亲人朋友强烈推荐中医针灸，并组织了14人的病友团，克服种种困难一起来中医中心治疗。经过针灸治疗，这些病友们的背痛、膝盖痛、踝关节痛等疾病病情大为好转。

Last April, Marsha went to the Zimbabwe Chinese Medicine Center for acupuncture treatment due to her chronic lumbago and multiple joint pains. The treatment was very effective. Marsha comes from Bulawayo, which is 445 kilometers away from the center located in Harare. After her recovery, she strongly recommended the acupuncture of TCM to her family and friends and organized a group of 14 patients to come to the center for treatment despite various difficulties. Upon receiving acupuncture treatment, the patient's back pain, knee pain, and ankle joint pain improved significantly.
