在湖南，千年名楼焕发新活力

The fourth Hunan Tourism Development Conference took place in Yueyang, central China's Hunan Province, from May 24 to 26, drawing journalists from across the country to explore the city's attractions.

第四届湖南旅游发展大会于5月24日至26日在中国中部湖南省岳阳市举行，吸引了来自全国各地的记者探访这座城市的旅游景点。

One of Yueyang's best-known attractions is Yueyang Tower, an ancient pavilion overlooking Dongting Lake. In 1046, Chinese scholar Fan Zhongyan (989-1052) penned "The Notes on Yueyang Tower," an essay that remains widely recited today.

俯瞰洞庭湖的古老岳阳楼，是岳阳最著名的景点之一。1046年，中国学者范仲淹写下千古名篇《岳阳楼记》，传诵至今。

Since 2023, Yueyang has marked the 15th day of the ninth lunar month as "Yueyang Tower Day." The celebration features recitations of Fan's classic essay and various cultural performances that attract crowds of tourists.

自2023年起，岳阳将每年农历九月十五日设为“岳阳楼日”，组织开展《岳阳楼记》吟诵、演出等特色文旅活动，吸引许多游客争相“打卡”。

In recent years, Yueyang has unveiled several new cultural tourism landmarks. During the conference, the city launched new travel routes and introduced incentives including vouchers and cash prizes for group tours. Authorities said the measures aim to boost integration of culture and tourism and attract more visitors to the city.

近年来，岳阳着力打造了一批文旅“新地标”，并在第四届湖南旅发大会期间，推出了多条精品旅游线路，发放文旅消费券、组团游现金大奖等文旅优惠大礼包。有关部门表示，这些举措旨在推进文旅融合发展，吸引更多人来感受这座历史名城的魅力。
