第九届“东方文明·高峰对话”在长沙举行

The 9th Oriental Civilization Summit Dialogue, co-hosted by the Mencius Foundation and others, was held in Changsha on April 19. At the summit, multiple former political figures, experts and scholars gathered under the theme Eastern Wisdom and Tea Ceremony Civilization: Cultural Inheritance and Industrial Future in Harmonious Coexistence to discuss exchanges and mutual learning between Eastern and Western civilizations.

4月19日，由孟子公益基金会等主办的第九届“东方文明·高峰对话”在长沙举行。会上，多位前政要和专家学者以“东方智慧与茶道文明——和合共生下的文化传承与产业未来”为主题共话东西方文明交流互鉴。

"With a history spanning thousands of years, tea culture is no longer merely a treasure of China, but a bridge connecting civilizations around the world," said Ivo Josipović, former President of Croatia, at the event in Changsha. He noted that the concept of "harmony through tea" in Chinese tea culture embodies shared values of all humanity, and expressed his hope that the world would be as crystal-clear, transparent, harmonious, and inclusive as Chinese tea.

“茶文化历经千年，早已不只是华夏瑰宝，而是沟通世界文明的桥梁。”克罗地亚前总统伊沃·约西波维奇在现场表示，中国茶文化中“茶和天下”的理念，承载了全人类共同价值，希望世界如中国茶那般澄澈通透、和谐共融。
